È stata la sera delle vittorie (e di una piccola polemica) attorno a Beyoncé, che ha portato a casa quattro statuette (contando anche come co-autrice di Cuff It) diventando così l’artista di maggior successo nella storia dei Grammy (32 premi in tutto). Il suo Renaissance non ha vinto però nella categoria più importante, quella dell’album dell’anno, dove è stato battuto da Harry’s House di Harry Styles.
Si è svolta ieri sera alla Crypto Arena di Los Angeles la cerimonia di premiazione dei 65esimi Grammy Awards. Kim Petras è la prima vincitrice transgender di un Grammy, Viola Davis è entrata nel club degli EGOT (i vincitori di Emmy, Grammy, Oscar e Tony), mentre i Måneskin, che erano candidati nella categoria dei nuovi artisti, sono stati battuti da Samara Joy. In campo rap, il vincitore assoluto è Kendrick Lamar. Grande sorpresa per la canzone dell’anno, Just Like That di Bonnie Raitt, che ha battuto i superbig del pop. In quanto alle performance, Bad Bunny ha portato un po’ di Porto Rico sul palco, dove la storia dell’hip hop è stata omaggiata da un’esibizione all-star.
