Il film Baywatch è stato annunciato in uscita nel maggio 2017 e le riprese sono iniziate lo scorso febbraio. Chiaramente ispirato alla serie televisiva degli anni Novanta, alla regia ci sarà Seth Gordon e, oltre ai già citati Zac Efron, Johnson e Daddario, nel film ci saranno Priyanka Chopra (Miss Mondo 2000), Kelly Rohrbach, ultima fiamma di DiCaprio, e il comico Hannibal Buress.
